Description When a patient enters a hospital, emergency clinic or other similar facility, they will have personal belongings that need to be safely protected – for both the patient’s and the hospital’s benefit – and the SECUR-ID™ Patient Property Bags are the perfect solution. For the patient, knowing that their personal belongings are safe & secure will be a calming effect for them. For the hospital, the tamper-evident sealing system will reduce staff time & insurance costs by minimizing lost property, due to administrative mistakes or false claims. The basic features of the SECUR-ID™ Patient Property Bags are: Flat bag measures 9 inches by 12 inches, plus 2 tear-away receipts at top For storing watch, cell phone, tablet, dentures, eyeglasses, etc. Checklist printed on bag Tamper-evident seal provides security Unique, ID number & barcode on bag & on both receipts connects individual with their property 250 bags/ case Upon entering the facility, the patient will complete the information on the front side of the SECUR-ID™ Patient Property Bag. Once completed, the patient will then place their small belongings into the bag and then remove the backing from the SECUR-ID™ tamper-evident seal to securely close the bag. The patient will then tear away the top receipt for themselves, noting that the unique ID number and barcode on the tear-away receipt is the same as the unique ID number and barcode on the bag itself. Upon leaving the facility, the patient will give their tear-away receipt to the hospital’s property manager to retrieve back their own personal belongings.
